Picture
We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for your students to participate in a Girls Who Code workshop, facilitated by Ms. Elias and our esteemed ELRO seniors. This workshop promises to be a fascinating experience where students will delve into the world of coding using the program Replit.
Here are the details of the workshop:
  • Date: March 27, and April 3
  • Time: 3:15 PM to 4:00 PM
  • Location: Wagner, Room 106
  • Registration Link: www.mselias.com/girls-who-code
The Girls Who Code workshop aims to introduce young minds to the fundamentals of coding while fostering creativity, problem-solving skills, and teamwork. It will be a hands-on session where students will have the chance to explore coding concepts in a supportive and engaging environment.
Why should your student attend?
  • Empowerment: This workshop provides a unique opportunity for students to explore the field of computer science, an area where they are traditionally underrepresented. By participating, your student can gain confidence in their abilities and see firsthand the exciting possibilities that coding offers.
  • Skill Development: Coding is an essential skill in today's digital age, and learning it early can open up numerous opportunities for your student in the future. Whether they aspire to pursue a career in technology or simply want to broaden their skill set, this workshop will provide a solid foundation in coding principles.
  • Inspiration: Our ELRO seniors, who will be facilitating the workshop, serve as inspiring role models for your students. They have demonstrated a passion for coding and are eager to share their knowledge and experiences with the next generation of coders.
We encourage you to take advantage of this fantastic opportunity for your student to explore the world of coding in a supportive and encouraging environment. Please RSVP by  March 22 to secure your student's spot in the workshop.
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact Ms. Elias at [email protected]. We look forward to seeing your student at the Girls Who Code workshop!
